Our tips and recommendations to keep your Plasti Dip looking great for longer, and the best ways to clean, protect and care for your vehicle after application.
- Wait 5 days after your Dip before washing your vehicle.
- At an automatic car wash, choose the basic wash, not the most expensive one : wax soap can, over time, damage plastic, Dip or vinyl.
- To keep your Dip clean and looking good, wash it at least once a month in winter to remove road salt; in summer, only when the vehicle is dirty.
- Every time you wash your vehicle with a wax-free soap or Dip Wash, wait until it is completely dry, then apply DIP COAT to protect your investment.
- If you like using Armor All on your tires, use GO SHINE instead for the best finish.
- With a pressure washer, stay 1 m away so you don't damage the Dip.
- Remove bugs, bird droppings or sap within 48 h with STAIN DELETE.
- Clean your Dip with a microfibre cloth and dry it with a chamois.
- When filling up, be careful not to spill gas on the Dip.
- If touch-ups are needed, contact us before the problem gets worse.
